According to Queen of the Damned, a rock star is the closest thing to a god on Earth. But did Kurt actually have a religious following? I daresay some insane person worshipped him (there are always nutcases) but how about anyone who really believed he was the Messiah even when they were in their right mind? Is #3loserwithpride crazy?
>>By Sk8a H8a
I think #3 is a comediant............ I am surely laughing my arse of with his comment...
>>By Campking
kurt is the messiah of music
>>By Vavin
Messiah of music? What's that supposed to mean? That's just a vague and general comment - be honest; you don't really mean anything specific by it.

ok mabey he wasn't really jesus but he did have many of the same ideals. he wasn't vain ( in a time people were very) he didn't ever gay bash, he never let objects rule over him ... he was somewhat of a humanitarian in the sense he showed people they could go out in public with messy hair and pajamas and be ok with it...
>>By #3loserwithpride
odnenref... just because they led different lives doesn't mean he wasn't reincarnated. Just because you are born again doesn't mean you have to live and die EXACTLY the same way... and jesus couldn't play an electric because they didn't have one back then.
>>By #3loserwithpride
* didn't have any back then.
>>By #3loserwithpride
#3loserwith pride....you are clearly misinformed and mentally challenged......changing subject...has anyone read the book "come as you are" that's the only Kurt Cobain book i haven't read and i wanna know if it's worth buying or not....
>>By odnanref
sk8 your really starting to piss me off do you have to challenge everything i say
>>By Vavin
Odnanref, you are both mean spirited and have no sense of humour. I also think you are obsessed if "come as you are " is the ONLY book you haven't read about kurt.
>>By #3loserwithpride
yeah, does anybody know what kurt cobain believed (religiously) no i havent read come as you are odnanref, have you read heavier than heaven?
>>By idontknowdotcom23
vavin, he is a young male and thinks it's important to challenge you with everything because he feels he should obtain dominance over you. Don't take it personally as it is normal for teenage males to look for conflict rather than resolution. Calm down guy's this should be fun not confrontational! ugh men!
>>By #3loserwithpride
does anyone know were i could find any pictures of francis b.?
>>By #3loserwithpride
Ultimately, i dont know what his religion was, if he even had one. But i do think he believed in God. I read that when he was moving around a lot in his late teens, he moved in with a Christian family and supposedly he became a born again Christian. Also, some of the songs that he decided to cover for 'mtv unplugged' were linked to Christianity. For example, "Jesus don't want me for a sunbeam" and "Lake of Fire". And in the song Lithium, he says "light my candles in a daze 'cause i found God"....There's this one picture of him where he is standing in front of this huge billboard that says something like 'God will forgive and save you'...that's not exactly what it said but it was along those lines...So, that is why i have come to the conclusion that he most likely believed in God. oh and also, for his memorial service, Courtney was reading verses out of the bible. So, i take it they both believed in God.

I recently saw some pictures of her in Blender magazine...she's a really cute girl...You can see Kurt's features on her face, especially her eyes...but my best guess would be to look on the internet.
>>By odnanref
In the book heavier then heaven, Cross mentions Kurt studied buddisim, or at least a television program about it thus, declairing his final name for the band his name for the band.
>>By #3loserwithpride
Being a teenage male doesn't mean I have to challenge every idiotic statement someone makes. I only challenge the stuff which I don't fully understand because someone hasn't been clear enough or I think they're just wrong. This is a discussion - if you say something, anyone can challenge it. It's kind of obvious he studied Buddhism, since he named the band Nirvana. But that doesn't mean he believes in Buddhism. I mean, I think Nirvana is a cool name for a band but I'm a Christian.
>>By Sk8a H8a
yeah but it doesnt mean you should challenge everything they say this is the third discussion when you felt the need to imput something that wasnt required
>>By Vavin
um... are you sure sk8? Kurt was full of contradictions. he drove a volvo because it was the safest car on earth, but he did all kinds of cruel shit to his body. I guess it was because he wanted to die at his own expense instead of God's. he always said he was fucked by God.
>>By #3loserwithpride
Ah, that's kinda Jesus-like then, yeah. I can indeed see where you're coming from. Vavin: Please, stop going on about it... It's you who keeps sometihng irrelevant and I'm just telling you not to. If you will persist in saying things which are off-topic, I have no choice but to get annoyed about it.
>>By Sk8a H8a
your the one whos going off topic because you keep bringing it up i should be the one who is annoyed
>>By Vavin
oh you two quit it you don't even know each other lets talk about kurt!
>>By #3loserwithpride
Cobain... is that an Irish sur name? Could anyone tell me i would really like to know.
>>By #3loserwithpride
That's odd because on Bleach his name is written as Kurdt Kobain and after that he has Kurt Cobain. Also Krist is called Chris... what's going on there?
>>By Sk8a H8a
Kurt always like to use different names for rock n roll...just to make 'em look cooler....but his real name is Kurt
>>By odnanref
What about Krist? Is that his real name? I've never heard of anyone else called Krist before...
>>By Sk8a H8a
Krist Anthony Novoselic is his real name...
>>By odnanref
odnanref, yeah i know Christianity had been mentioned in his lyrics, but also, he says in one of his songs (ive forgotten which one it is...it'll come in a minute) he says "God is gay"...whats the blasphemy all about? Oh and yeah I've never heard of Krist being used as a real name (as in not nickname) before...
>>By idontknowdotcom23
the song is all apologies
>>By odnanref
and he didn't say god is gay..he said 'everyone' is gay...he wrote god is gay on walls in is hometown of aberdeen when he was younger
