kj are the heaviest and most intense band ever who have spawned a million copyists whose new album is quoted as their best

Saw the Masters at the 1rst edition of ParkPop (Holland), their 1rst performance here. Luckely some people and !The Beat! cleared up the mess and everybody danced together afterwards. So they almost were responsible for the end of Europe's biggest free Popfestival!
Impressive guitarwalls, influenced Metallica, Rammstein etc. In real life crazy, but friendly guys. Spotted Geordie, without his Gretz, in Mykonos....to shy to say hi.
Their latest album's grinds, puffs and screams...It's a total invasion.

Well, they were here again, here in The Hague, at Parkpop 2005.They're a bit older now, but still in knowledge of how to kick ass. It was one big surprise i must say. A -- because most of the songs they played were of their first album, B -- they once had a huge hit named 'Love like blood' and they did not play this song. Was a bit disappointed by that but on the other hand it was a kind of proof to me they still shit on commerce, C -- the audience. We were all one big happy family having one thing in common: being KJ - fan. I expected a diversity of musicfans,
cause parkpop is a mix of sugardrippin' poppyshit to all kinds o' hardcore. But not for KJ. Most of the songs were their old 'dark'-ones and we all were singing along with them........And ofcourse the guitarplayer Geordie. Being cool and 'elusive' as always...........

What a great band to mention when told that all Canadian music is crap like Bryan Adams, Avril Lavigne and Celine Dion.

This band absolutely kills.

And i recently got allmost killed by finding out that Jaz Coleman, the singer of Killing Joke, is a great violinplayer, writes syphonies for orchestral music and even mainly he's a conductor as well! I really had no idea.....and that for a singer of a band that started as a punkband in development of a sound to the doommetal-kind-o' music that they make now. Jaz even made a solo album as a violinplayer together with Nigel Kennedy. I'm in great need to hear it once.......

'Requiem' is my favourite item from them.
