Is there anyone there to give me some information about kevlar?
Kevlar is the trademarked name of poly-paraphenylene terephthalamide It is a very strong and tough polymer, invented in 1971

There is also (at least) one band with the former name Kevlar. They were forced to change it (a bit) when threatened with legal action by the Dupont corporation, who produces the polymere fibre. The band is now named KVLR (see? No resemblance). It is a Swedish indie rock outfit in the tradition of Sonic Youth, Swervedriver, Fugazi etc. One could argue that they would hardly pose a threat to a multinational corporation's sales figures and that coexistence would be preferable, but there we are.
"Kross Kounty Line" is actually another Kevlar, possibly some Australian techno guy.
"The Deadly Dozen" is sold out by the way, but the songs of this EP also appear on "On Planted Streets", a reissue on Sticksister records.
Oh, and I play guitar.
