Rob Halford has the most incredible vocal range and dynamics and who can say enough about the chops, the songs, the arrangements, the songs, the composition, the songs, the lyrics, the SONGS!!!!! Myself and a bunch of other semi-retired rockers get together to jam on our favorite tunes every now and again and I recently blew them away by singing a capella to warm up my cords: "I'LL BE DAAAAAMNED, HERE COMES YOUR GHOST AGAAAAAAAAAIN, BUT THAT'S NOT UN-UUUUU-SU-UUUUHHHL, IT'S JUST THAT THE MOOOON IS FUUUUULL AND YOU DE-CI-DED TO CAAAAAALLLL!!!" They all cracked up because they'd only heard of the Joan Baez version of that song and thought I was just "punking it out" to be funny, until I went home and got the disk, brought it back, and put it on the turntable, and....they stood there, their instruments hanging (cept the drummer of course) like they forgot they had 'em strapped on; slack-jawed, awed in silence at the Master of Vocal Enunciation!!!!!
