Hi My name is Darren Anderson and unlike most 16 year olds i don't like rap or hip hop. No i like John Prine. My friends think i'm nuts but it his music that i like and i have all of his cd's.
Just goes to show you that John Prine is excellent for all age groups.

I'm writing a paper about John Prine for my history of country/western music class. I was introduced to Prine by my dad, who has quite a collection. I just found out he'll be 15 miles from where my family lives in Iowa on April 19th and left my dad a message that I'd sure as hell be there if he was touring anywhere near me. I'm 25 and it makes me sad that all my favorite musicians don't have much time left. That's the way the world goes 'round.

I have been a fan for many years. I have never figured out how a mind like that works .The songs he comes up with are amazing
