They are just great performers and brilliant artists. I even got hurt during one of their shows in san luis obispo and had to go to the emergency room before they came on, but i told the EMT i traveled to far to leave now, and i waited till after JEW's set, there i was with a pack of ice over my upper cheek and blood all over my shirt. Jim and the gang are beautiful, wonderful people, I love them and hope everything works out great for them. The best band I've ever heard. -^_^- >>By Orchid Jimmy eat World is an awsome band! They are consistant with shooting out great songs. They are a true Rock band. No one mesures up to thier talent. You really can't compare them to Blink 182 or Sum41 because they are nothing like those bands.. Sum41 is more pop-punk and aimed at little kids like 8-14. I went to one of thier concerts once and everyone was with thier "mommy." Blink 182 is way more punky then Jimmy eat world. I wouldn't really put them in the same catagory. Jimmy is ROCK not punk.
