I was always going to love Jeff Buckley, I was made for it. I'm ashamed it took me so many years to finally buy Grace.

Listening to Mystery Whiteboy makes me so devestated that I can't see him live. It must have been life-changing for everyone in the audience.

JB: hugely talented singer writer and guitarist. "Grace" is such a beautiful album and yep I entirely agree that several others such as Matt Belamy and Thom Yorke appear to been influenced by his music, but on the flipside when something that good comes along it's hard not be influenced I guess. I'd put him up with Stevie Wonder, Miles, Jimi, the Beatles, Joni M, Floyd etc as truly bringing something fresh, exhilaratingly beautiful and inspiring to Music. I also think in a way he was wonderfully humble in a way in that few are to respectfully and beautifully cover other peoples material rather than simply "imitating" it .........Wouldn't it be interesting to hear what those who who have obviously been inspired by his work would do in re-working a JB number? Or has somebody done this and I don't know about it?!?!?!?

There is already at least one Jeff Buckley tribute out there. Some very good covers on it. Ofcourse not as great as the originals.
And beginning of this month there has also been a tribute released to both him and his father. At least that is what I have heard.
