Great innovative guitarist going back to the mid-1960's with The Yardbirds. His later solo work ("Blow by Blow" and "Wired" to name two) expanded on this almost revolutionary approach to rock. Hugely talented with great control over his instrument, although I always thought he has had a bit of a self-destructive nature. Mind you, if that nature equates to his failure to compromise, or sell-out, all the more reason to admire him.

I have him on maxi video single & i like the collaboration with Rod Stewart

I agree Persevere. He had a self-destructive nature because he was a perfectionist. He was never quite happy with his records. The only satisfaction he really got after everything was said and done was when other musicians that respected him told him so. Wired is great in my opinion. Jan Hammer and him really were a tight collaberation. I still think he has work left undone.
