| Discussion: Jaheim In comparison, I am sure I am one of Jaheim's more mature listeners. but believe me, the depth of this brother's spirituality transcends the ages. I'll call it 'Ghetto Spirtuality" and this is what comes through in his voice, his looks and demeanor, making him a powerfully magnetic individual. Your mom had the vision, she named you 'JAHeim'. Blessed to have a voice that can pearce the heart of man. His gift is to minister in music to touch the lives of those who have given up or who's circumstances seem to out way the good in life. He offers a realness that young and old can relate to. He represents realness to a level of unshamfulness. Having had a past but not dwelling there but taking the oppurtunity to move foward and reflect on where he comes from so that he can appreciate where he is going. His unbounding love for his mother shows faithfulness and appreciation for life and wisdom that she imparted to him. All that you hear in his music is real. I not a Hollywood script they are real life situatiions that allow people to open up to and say hey I've been there or I'm in that same situation and his music provides answers to these sometimes dilemas. Jah you are my man you are a mentor in music despite age you are a testamony to all ages and sexes. His soft sultry Luther Vandross like voice is enough to drive any woman crazy but when you add his real life/ street lyrics to that I just can't get enough.
