His music is so mathematically perfect! Besides, I loved anything that gave me permission to use my instructor's prized harpsichord....Even now, I love to listen to Bach. >>By redcatdave I have a 21 month old son. I think it's interesting all the baby toys play classical music. But well over half of all the compositions are by Back. I can't think of anything better for a child's developing mind. His Counterpoint is just about as perfect as you can get. Everything that he has written is much better than anything than anyone else has. I reccomend the preludes, fugues, inventions, Klavierbüchlein, Orgelbüchlein, toccatta and fugue in D minor, "little" fugue in G minor, toccatta and fugue in D minor "dorian", Brandenburg concertos, Invention in D minor, invention in C minor, and could go much further... Johann Sebastian Bach ist der ungeheuerste Musiker der Geschichte der Welt! Jedes Stück das er geschrieben hat, ist total besser als irgendeiniges Stück von irgendeinigen anderen! Ich hab schon oben einige Großwerke empfohlen. Ich hätte viele mehr um zu empfehlen können.
