I´m trying to find one particular Hotel Costes music. It´s an old music, seven, eight years maximum. In the reef we ear the chorus singing "Happyness" or something like that. Can anybody help me?? Please send me the name of the music to dr_phantoon@hotmail.com. Thankx...

Love this music, it has spoilt me for other stuff. A lot of the tunes melt so seemlessly into each other and the range of different styles is superb. Only problem is I have bought the 5 albums and now need to hear something new that is in a similar style. has anyone got any suggestions.

email prsmaa@bath.ac.uk

This music really makes my day. It gives me images of the coast, the languid life, the summer.... It expresses without words the ambience of cool insouciance. It is in my car right now. I wish other volumes were available locally. I only have volume 3 right now.

The music is so fine....It has it's original style and the style is characteristic. Whenever I hear Hotel Costes somewhere I recognize this melody that is unbelievable.

I have yet to own the entire Hotel Costes series--I only own volumes 2, 4 and 5--but from my understanding and after reading the reviews these are the best ones in the series...I'm almost convinced of this being that I find myself playing these babies EVRYDAY!!! I don't know why I waited so long to buy this series...just thought it was hype, but, boy, was I wrong....This is really great muisc and Pompougnac is a terrific mixer and sequencer...I'll believe the HYPE the next, I'll bet...

I have all five of these skinny pups, and I have to say Quatre is the best, although alll are v. good. The whole Sous de Soleil-Cafe de Flore sequence...upbeat, chic, Stephane, j'adore ta musique. mot a ta mere.

I am 47 years old and decided 3 years ago enough was enough...I buy a great deal of music and was buying same old mix of jazz and stuff. So as I am French I went to a shop called FNAC who have a great facility by which u can listen to any music by showing the bar code of an album to a machine and then it plays the album for you...that is when my love affair with COSTES started as I bought LA SUITE (loved the cover) and so since then not only do I have every COSTES going (only number one was a dud) but also loads of new stuff .....COSTES music is made for the hotel itself and it has been said that it is interesting enough to listen to in silence or discreet enough to be a background!!!!
Try MAN RAY( surely the next COSTES), BARRIO LATINO (a new Brazilian influence on a very similar COSTES idea), NATURE CHILD(name of the album),PARIS UNDER A GROOVE, ALCOVE and one of my top guys ever called SHAZZ who brought 2 albums out....SHAZZ and ALCOVE are a lot mellower than the others but all these albums are pure joys....I have loads of discussions with my peer group who seem by and large to like stuff they bought when they were 20 and have not moved on...SHAME! But I also manage to bring this to a lot of peoples attention....If u want more titles a little out of the way contact me...I spend my life looking for new stuff and have found some pretty amazing stuff!!!!
