Tragedy is so brutal and so melodic. Some of the songs are instrumentals. They, like His Hero Is Gone are very anti-technology. They think something along the lines of technology is destroying liberty and enslaving people. In a way, they could be right. Ideologically, they're one of the few intelligent anarchist bands out there. they also seem to be one of the only bands that's been able to make punk, hardcore or metal that's heavy in the new-skool sense of the word. I really hope that they influence a new generation of bands, as I think they represent 1) a legitimate connection to the roots of this music in terms of fundamental outlook, and 2) a way forward.
