Discussion: Him HIM is an awesome band and they create beautiful music. I DID hear about them through CKY and Bam Margera i'll admit that, but thats not why i like them. that's just how i heard about them, and i was curious about how they sounded so i downloaded some of their songs and i was hooked. i fell in love with ville valos lyrics and his voice. >>By Knoxville grl ville & him makes my life... 666... >>By gotheve You fucking losers, HIM came BEFORE cky, they were big BEFORE cky. Personally i like them way better than CKY but i do like CKY. And actually i heard of HIM before CKY from my friend Anna. Great girl. She alwasy talked about them so one day she let me hear them. I mean, Am I a poser because I have the heartagram tattooed on my back? I don't think so.... I also am only trying to respect Ville and show that I will forever love His Infernal Majesty. We as humans only try to imitate others because we like them or show respect for them. I bought their 2 last albums just because i love them as ppl and coz i know them ever since. For those who say "HIM became popular just because of CKY" - i bet u come from USA or around, coz in Europe they r popular for years and years with their own music and not coz of CKY. I've never seen them live before despite being a fan for a while (it's only just lately I've noticed Bam!) but I've been told Ville has a fantastic stage presence... Have you all heard about the instore signing in London in September? I start college that day, so I can't go :'( So this gig is to sort of compensate for it! I wasn't gonna go before, but I've decided I have to see them, even if they are just supporting.. And my brother and I discovered them before CKY, so about all that jazz, I don't even think CKY made them that famous here in the US of A.. I was the only one out of the whole damn school who had ever heard them and who had heard of them. Also, they didn't change their name to HER, as someone stated a while back, "also HIM was HER in the us for a short while but now is H.I.M. so dont talk shit if you cant back it up." Which obviously means that HIM hasn't changed their name. And there are people here in the US that can apperciate that kind of music, such as myself. Sure, a lot of people I know can't understand why i'm a "punk" and I listen to "goth" music.. But, it's good music with a lot of talent put into it. Didn't Ville say that it took them about a year and a half to make "Love Metal" Most bands would just wanna get a CD on the market and spit it out around 3 months of recording.
