I came across Greg Brown whilst listening to an internet radio stream (Dogtown Saloon - sadly no longer broadcasting). I immediately fell in love with his music - great voice, orginal and varied style. Mmmm. I have since purchased a couple of his albums - although he is virtually unknown in the UK unfortunately.

He also married Iris DeMent. What a husband and wife duo! If you have not heard Iris, you should check her out, esp. her album "My Life".

Hi - thanks, I did not realise that he was married to Iris DeMent but I also have a couple of her tracks which I heard on some internet radio. I agree - together they make one hell of a talented couple.
