THE ALBUM ONCE BITTEN
IS A DAMN GOOD ALBUM.......
>>By ROCK ME
On February 21, 2003 several people died due to a fire during a show in Rhode Island. I'm deleting a couple of heartless messages now, that have been posted after this event. My english is somewhat limited, so I might miss some of the inappropriate posts. If so, let me know.

This is a great band who always play to please the fans not hurt them and I feel they are probably mourning just as hard as all the other families for their loss as well as their fans.

tragadies like this bring out the worst in anonymous posters ... white light and postive energy sympathies to all those involved and the 75 + lost <> <> <> <> <> <>

Great white lit it up last night at the Station. My favorite song was "once bitten twice fried'
>>By ed toth
does anyone know what song the band was playing when the stage caught on fire?
>>By Kit
This band needs to take responsabolity for what they have done!!
>>By pissed off
does anyone think great white will Recover?
>>By george poland
The band is grieving right now, its not right to point fingers at this time!!
>>By george poland
i have a white snake, that often catches on fire when kit is around
>>By by david trey anderson
Wouldn't it be better to wait for facts before condemning these guys? A Rockband is probably not too much involved in the handling of their pyrotechnics.
>>By Donald
I agree with Donny. Right on bro, and rock on Great White. Fans, save your love for Great White!!!
>>By george poland
Great white fans have got to stay focused, stay the course, and pray for our Great white Brothers and sisters
>>By george poland
The club says the band sprung the fireworks on them. A club in N.J. says the same thing happeend to them.

the ignorace and sheer cruelty of the human race never ceases to amaze me. I am a fan and am deeply saddened to hear this news however, I think what saddens me the most is the degree of hatred shown by some of these people. I think everyone, especially the band and loved ones of people involved in this, deserve some decency and respect in this tragic time...is that too much to ask?
>>By ledgirl
I'm sorry, but any city planner or owner of a building that can become engulfed in flames in 3 minutes....shouldn't be pointing any fingers just yet.
>>By mmt
What do they usually open with anyway? You know the fire was during their 1st song?
>>By Mean
Mean, I am not really a fan but I think these guys did "pour some sugar on me" so probably that.
>>By Dag
The use of such flammable products in such a small venue is just a blatant act of disregard for the safety of the occupants. My heart goes out to the victims, howeveer I can't help but feel that the band should be brought up on criminal charges.
>>By Jail them!
I hear one of the guitarists is among the missing, any info on who it is?
>>By Garritos
It's really sad to see how tragedy really brings out so many insensative dickheads. Could you people please have some sympathy for those who have been lost?
>>By jd
i feel really bad for what happened, and i give my sympathy to all the familys missing loved ones and i hope the band realizes all the harm they have done , and think before they ever do something like that again.
>>By beenie
pretty sad reports on the news...pretty sad inhuman postings on this board making jokes. see how funny it is to laugh about if somebody you know dies in a fire. have a little respect for the dead...but the band should be forthcoming with all info about their little sparkler machines. they looked like more than that in the video. speaking of rock n roll tragedies, i saw something cool about a new book about layne staley of alice in chains who died last year. look at www.insidelayne.com
>>By another rock n roll tragedy...
The band will not have to think before doing something like this again because the band is finished.
>>By The Band
this band is DIRECTLY responsible for the deaths of nearly 100 people.
>>By book em
I think it's really sick, some of the cruel postings on this site by people who OBVIOUSLY have no respect for the dead, or those who are clinging to life at this very moment. I would like to ask that all of you out there PRAY for those who were claimed by this terrible tragedy, as well as those who were injured. My heart truly goes out to all of those who perished, as well as their families.
>>By Sadness
I can't beleive you removed my post taking am at the cruel people that had written comments on this board. It was not offenseive in anyway it was making a point about how sick it was, But yet you felt compleed to leave those damn lyrics on here, what kind of person are you that is running this board.I think you definatley made a wrong choice in waht you censored. What a joke. I won't be back!
>>By can't beleive it
Before you start joking around about such a tragedy, just remember... Karma works in funny ways...
Have some respect.
>>By J Church
If anyone thinks that Great White intended to cause any one harm, then you are a person that wants people to hurt...I agree with the above message Karma works in mysterious ways....Peace be with the deceased, the injured, and their families and the band members of Great White
>>By K&R
I would never ever say that the band wanted to cause anyone any harm...that is ludicrous...but the fact remains that you had a small, packed venue with a low ceiling...Can anyone say that pyro and this setting mix. I don't think so. Someone above said that the band prolly had nothing to do or no knowledge of the pyrotechnics...this too is a stupid comment. Any band that uses pyro has to know everything about it. You have to know when it is going to go off and where it is going to go off, so that you are not right in it's path. The video of the spark machines shooting outward clearly would indicate that the band new where NOT to be standing...Jack Russell even so much says he knew where the pyro would be when, in an interview he was talking about how they had permission to use pyro and all. This was a blatant act of stupidity on the entire Great White camp that has now resulted in the loss of someones brothers, sisters, friends, sons, daughters, and worst of all MOMS and DADS. No amount of money could ever fix something like this, and I doubt that Great White, Inc. is a fortune five hundred company anyway. What occurred in Rhode Island is nothing short of Murder, or at the very least about a hundred cases of involuntary manslaughter and even more cases of assault. The whole bunch deserves whatever comes to them.
