You can't trust the media or the internet for news. Where ever it was that you heard about Joel and Hillary and all that, chances are, it's not a reliable source. Unless you actually heard it straight out of the mouthes of BOTH OF THEM, then chances are, it's not true. Lies spread fast in the music industry... and well, any industry for that matter. Just because you read something somewhere doesn't make it true.

So far I've heard 2 songs from their new album, "Walk Away" and "Predictable", and they were both awesome. So not what I was expecting from them. It's nothing like their old stuff at all. They've got new instruments in them, and Joel's singing sounds so much better. When I heard the songs, I wouldnt have know it was him singing if I hadn't know it was from GC beforehand.

Sk8a H8a do you not like it because the quality isnt good ( the only one I could find was from a concert) you just dont like the song, or just because you have such a negative attitude towards GC that whatever song they make you'll say sucks, so no one should even bother to listen to your opinion?

That sounds like a nice arrangement, although Ozzy is cool.
I just don't like the song. The one I heard was also live and I have to say they don't play THAT badly live, but the song is just generally pretty sucky. The lyrics suck too.
I can say which Good Charlotte songs I hate the most and Walk Away is better than average but it still sucks.

GC's gonna be on "Making the Video" (ugh...MTV...may it burn) Sept 8 for "Predictable" (for the US anyway). I saw screencaps of it, it looks interesting. Very dark and kinda goth.

yeah... i just saw GC at Warped Tour in Barrie and i must say that i was pissed off with their preformance! all they played was songs from the Young and the Hopeless, and then some new shit... well it's fine to play new stuff to promote it, and some of the stuff from your second album... but when your first album is better? come on! haha! the only reason they didn't play stuff from their first album was cuz they didn't make it big with that album... but that doesnt mean it wasn't good... they just didn't promote it as much! but whatever! guess that's what you get when your favourite bands gets big!

Slipknot are even suckier than GC, but at least they've improved. GC, on the other hand, have become bigger posers than ever, which sucks. At least their first album was more original and fun in a way... however, if I went to a GC concert I'd rather they played nothing at all than stuff from their first album. Of course, I'd come on this discussion board and insult them for everything they did wrong anyway. So you GC fans should be glad I'm not gonna go to one of their concerts.
