Ever since traveling accross the US in a bus with my Big Daddy I've had a love for pulling off some impossible Road Trips. Never to much SPEED just a lot of TIME BEHIND THE WHEEL (for the Boss Man that is). I was just along for the ride, meeting new people & the toys.

In my adult life I've pulled of a few overnight cross country runs when I had to (Business ya know).

So "RADAR LOVE" has a special place in my open mind.

We used RADAR LOVE in an EAGLES CLUB VIDEO to raise awareness for AMBER ALERT & raise money for a local food shelf.

Bad Ass Bikes, Great Music, Chicks, Cops & good old fun mixed into a good cause.

Which Golden Earing song talks about why my brother ate the APPLE & what kind of turmiol he went through in the aftermath. Granted the thing tasted sweet enough but it smelled like shit when you looked under the hood. If only Eve or any other decent human being had acces to the Apples interupt vector. We probably could have eaten millions of them, now we give them away because they grow on trees & we know they go bad.

I still play with the apple, but I'd never really get intuit with my dirty laundry or to SMART & think I knew what all the DRIVErs did.

What a great toy, too bad you can't eat it.

Golden Earring, best dutch band ever. And they're awesome as a liveband! They really kick
fúcking ass ! I'm sorry, i just cannot find another word to describe my experience. Their best gigs are in front of small audiences. The smaller the audience the louder they seem to play. Without thrashening the songs they always find a way to turn 'clichés', like Radar love and Twilight zone into hardrock,metal and/or psychedelic songs. And not only by playing loud
(however they certainly do), but also by great improvise ! They don't stick to the rules of the song.
On composing they were at their best from '68 till '75. No less then eleven releases during that period present their most dark, psychedelic, heavy and most symphonical works they've ever done. Also dó like the Earring after that, but from that time off they became to be a more regular rockband. A great rockband though, but just rock.
They started in '61, and now, 43 years later they still play their gigs on their own way : they just blow up the stage.
