I saw Goatwhore one week ago today (6/11/03). My ears are still ringing! What a awesome tight band! Ben was amazng and a very nice guy! Sammy rippe as did the rest! I Can't wait for the new album or to see them again in October in Los Angeles with Kreator, Vader and Nile!! What a great show that will be! For my money Goatwhore is the best on the bill!!!!

i`d like to see at least half of the goatwhore fans pay homage to the influence of the band. i mean these guys just didn`t materialize out of nowhere...i guess i`ve just seen too many fans not know the origin of black metal and just basiclly the sound of metal in general. will the scene ever be back to a state of pure music LOVERS or will it just lull into a bunch of people who only like to wear their newest black t-shirt to the gig so they can be seen. and why is there a 10 year gap in the new orleans scene. the bands now are basiclly composed of the same musicians that were playing in 89. i`m thankful of this, but let`s be honest the scene is going where? what`s new orleans going to do when soilent breaks up?and i`m saying this in a smart ass manner. not trying to be negative, just trying to get some blood flowing about the scene. hail new orleans and every band that spent their last dollar on gas just to make it to the show!

ive never heard of them until now,but i am an extremely big fan of ACID BATH so ill be buying all the albums that GOATWHORE has put out.
