I have recently rediscovered george and have been really enjoying his music, especially his synth playing. Does anyone know where I can get some transriptions of his solo's?

Amazing artist. He was with Frank Zappa another great. I loved his Duke / Clark albums. His use of the Arp synthesizer and clavinet wah-wah is still unsurpassed. Musical genius, but from his song "Sweet Baby" you can hear he is a big softy. Love you George!

Aowh! I must say he is my favourite keyboard player! I profit of the occasion to say that I m still waiting for a CD edition of his albums "faces in reflections" (1973) and "love" (1974)(with FZ on guitar on 2 tracks->kill!!!!). I also encourage you to listen to his participations on albums by Flora Purim, Cal Tjader & Alphonso Johnson wich sound like his. Love you George !

Here's a great clip of George Duke, Lee Ritenour (guitar), Marcus Miller (bass), and Vinnie Colaiuta on drums. They are a few of the hardest grooving musicians on the planet. Very understated, they make this look easy... but wow is it funky.
