Also known as "America's Singing Cowboy," Gene Autry was celebrated for his music on and off screen. He recorded hundreds of songs, but his biggest selling gone-platinum record was "Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer". Champion became just as famous as Gene Autrey, performing stunts for live audiences and rescuing his rider on screen. Whether it was nibbling ropes around Gene Autry's wrists or racing to get help, Champion was always there to help get the "bad guys."
