i havent listened to em in quite awhile but they have led the pak in pushing electronica and music/drug influenced art
the thoughts and feelings they invoke are unlike any other music ive ever heard-i really wish i could see some videos of what they do-i had the dead cities album and the 50 page booklet of art pretty much says it all-they are the jimi hendrix of electronica-

Future sounds of london is one of the best and most Unappreciated Industrial/electronica bands out there. They're like nothing else in music today. Totally refreshing, when you listen to them you dont want to hear anything else, like they have prefected music.

if this is the same future sounds of london that I heard about two years ago, they are amazing. The music is so soothing yet frighting and awakening at the same time.

one word - dynamic

i cannot express what comes to my mind whenever i hear their music. I have the Dead Cities and ISDN, and all I can say is that they have reached a level like no other artist/producer has. The only problem is, if they're playing, I just can't stop smokin !!!

Before my friend told me to listen to his copy of "My Kingdom" , I thought I heard it all. However, I never heard music until I heard "future sounds of london". It was a totally new expierience. Nothing in my life up to that point could compare with it. I was enthralled by the eerie sounds and what my friend called "beats". I was so captived by the expierience, that tears came to my eyes after the last track was finished. Sure, I've heard sounds before, but this was the first time that I heard so many different sounds come together so poeticly. I must have listened to that CD a thousand times. Then my friend told me that there was more. He lent me a copy of a cd called "sargent pepper's lonely hearts club band" IT WAS AMAZING!!!!!! There were actually POEMS, set to "rythms" and "notes". My friend called these poems "lyrics." I love music, and I will always love "Future Sounds of London" for introducing what I had been missing out on for twenty three years.

I love music too! I was seventeen the frist time I heard music. I had alot of cds, but they were all just filled with sound effects. You know, stuff like dogs barking and telephones ringing. Then I heard Paupa new Guinne off of the "cool world" soundtrack. At first I didn't like it. Now you must understand. I heard a car horn a million times. however, I never heard a "french" horn. They say that "music" soothes the savage beast, maybe that's why my dad didn't kill me.

music schmusic! I just like to hear pots and pans falling out of cabinets!!!! I think music is for unimaginitive people who must have somone direct their ear and tell them how to interprate what they are hearing. It takes finely tuned ear and a quick mind to make a symphony of traffic jams and crying babies. You can keep your music, I on the other hand would rather turn off the radio and listen to the construction sight just outside of my apartment. Give me NOISE anytime.

DON'T EVER KNOCK MUSIC!!! I SWEAR TO GOD IF YOU EVER EVER EVER SAY ANYTHING BAD ABOUT MUSIC YOU'LL GET A SUPRISE-SUCH A BIG SUPRISE!!!!!

>>By MusicMan

IT #@#$ING ENFURATES ME THAT YOU WOULD SAY SUCH HORRIBLE THINGS. I CAN'T &*$%ING BELIEVE THAT YOU HAVE THE #@#@$ING NERVE TO SLAUGHTER AN ANIMAL BETTER THAN YOURSELF AND EAT IT JUST TO GET FATTER AND FATTER OFF OF YOUR WEALTH!!!!
YOUR TIME'S ALMOST UP, THE REVOLUTION IS COMMING!!!!

Those are some big words for such a little musicman! You are forgetting yourself and not fully appreciating the situation you're in. Noise is everywhere. Even in the vaccumes of space, supernova's release enormous ammounts of radiation for radio telescopes to pick up as NOISE. You cannot escape NOISE. NOISE SURROUNDS YOU AND IS EVEN INSIDE OF YOU. And as the for the future, picture the future as a boot stomping on a human face, and remember that is FOREVER.

>>By Noiseman23

You Can't keep the human spirit down. Before music, you sat on your throne and gorged yourself on the blood sweat and tears of the innocent. BUT THE PEOPLE HAVE BEEN GIVEN THE POWER TO ROCK!!!!! You can make your threats and false judgements, but music will never die.
GET THE ROCK OUT OF HERE!!!!!!

>>By ericsanchz

Your petty talk of the "human spirit" sickens me. Man is just a puppet and NOISE is his master. Man has raised temples to GOD, but has swallowed up those temples in the forms of earthquakes and war. Now Man has errected temples to "music". Soon, just like your ancestors, you will also be crushed as your cathedrals topple over their week foundations!!!

FSOL always puts me at ease. It will put me into a mindframe, that I usually never tune into when stressed out from the everyday cliche routine. Nothing beats listening to fsol "lifeforms" late at night when on the computer, or laying down strobing or on e....

>>By slurpeeliciouss

dear slurpeeliciouss, enjoy your precious "FSOL" while you still can. I'm afraid that in a few years, you will find "FSOL" and all musical malarky will be quite dead in the next few years. And as for your precious slurpee, I'm sorry to say that in a few years all 7-11 will serve is cold mud.HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Say what you want my musical friends, but the future sounds of london, and the world for that matter is NOISE!!!!!

>>By Noiseman23

Ahhh, my dear musicman! It seems that you have taken the first step in embracing racket! I have taught you to hate and it seems I taught you well! Can you feel the rage reverberate across your skull, like a million beautiful china plates crashing to the ground? Can you feel it scream in your ears like the sound of the family car's tires screeching against pavement. Can you hear it? Can you FEEL it? That my friend is noise, boiling inside you and believe me, it will kill you if you do not release it. But how sweet that release will be. Then, you be whole again!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

>>By Noisman23

Is there anybody outhere ?

>>By Truman

My dear Truman. See how I have taught musicman to hate? Laugh not but fear little, for you too will embrace NOISE.
Do you know the din of shattered dreams?
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
