Discussion: Frankie Bones

On this gnoosic discussion site there are a lot of great artist to talk about... D.J. Q-bert, D.J. Funk, D.J. mystik and the greatest Frankie Bones. I don't know if any of you have been to the other dicussion boards, but you have real candy kids RESPECTING the artist they are chatting about. So where is Frankie's respect? Everyone here is lucky enough to talk about, maybe even to Frankie, and all you people can do is be mean. Well save it cuz this dicussion board is for people who believe in P.L.U.R. Now maybe the real Frankie fans can come out and play!!! Later. E.J.

I have known Frankie for almost two years and the one thing about him that people
do not realize is that he knows the full spectrum of all styles in electronic music. I am into Drum & Bass and I know a lot of the history of Jungle...We would go to a few record stores and Frankie always somehow knew what Jungle DJ's had good
CD's...Adam F 'Kaos' for one...and then I remember him talking about this trance cd that he wanted to buy...Oliver Lieb...I never knew about trance music like this. It was amazing to hear something I always hated until this CD changed my feelings toward this genre. It was not cheesy...he called it Phutre. no, Phuturism..Techno but
with trance elements that reminded me of jungle...just slower. Then he played me a
bunch of his bonesbreaks records and showed me clippings from magazines where dj's like LTJ Bukem, Liam from The Prodigy and Fabio & Grooverider all had namechecked Frankie for being a major influence on why they all started playing old-school breaks...And to top that off House was another genre I had no clue about and he had history there...Crazy enough, I think Frankie has too much of
a history to ever be embraced by one single group but he knows the entire history and loves what he does...
