any one know were i can get bass tabs for flux of pink indians

>>By loser

Tube disasters is one of the easiest songs because its only three chords or notes depending on your instrument. its "c" "g" "g#" and thats it. c four times g four times and g# eight times

c is the third fret on the 3rd string of the bass(A string- 2nd from the top) g is the same on the e string(fourth string or the top) and g# is the next fret up- up being the higher note so it would actually down the neck or the fourth fret on the e string. whoever made the rules for how to read tabs sucks its all backwards

ok i just listened to the song and the bass is just a we bit different than the guitar and there is more than 3 notes. I'm not full of shit, i just did the best i could with what i had at the time.

It sounds to me like it goes into the same basic intro to myxomytopia. Basically like the way you would play porno music( for bass )

i'm not sure the easiest way to explain this so try to follow along. Its only what i think and i'm not sure it's right because honestly it sounds a little off to me.

it still start in c like above but each measure has a few more notes in it, obviously.

so start on 'C' on the 'A' string then go to 'C' on the 'G' string. Frets three and five one string apart from the other. Go back and with that till it sounds right then go to 'B' on the 'G' string and then 'D' on the 'A' string or an open 'D' string( fret is easier) then follow that formation with the other measures. Each individual note should be played twice. so if you start with 'C' play it twice then the higher octave 'C'(on the 'G' string) twice then 'B' twice and then 'A' twice. If thats not right then play it on the 'A' fret of the 'E' string(fifth fret of the top string) and you have myxomytopia. Its only suggested i'm not sure so if it's wrong then sorry, I tried.

>>By peter

one more correction, the intro is each note six times before chaging and then the last note is twelve times, i feel stupid for even trying

>>By peter

hi, me again. if the move from the higher c to b doesn't sound right try going to a# (b is in the middle of c and a#) the third fret on the g string. so third fret on the a string to the fifth fret on the g string to the third fret on the g string to the fifth fret on the d string, it sounds a little better. i give up now, it's too late for this shit. you better look back for that fucking tab

>>By peter

i lied, ok the intro is right hard to fuck that up. the main verse is the porno structure with alternating octaves of the same note the third fret a string twice and the fifth fret g string twice repeated once. then the third fret on e string twice and the fifth fret of the d string twice repeated once. then the fourth fret of the e string twice and the sixth fret of the d string twice and thats repeated twice. the way written above this one is right and its the chorus. there. i'm really done this time.

the bass line IS simple, its just the bass player has added 'twiddly' bits to it, try moving up the strings in a pentatonic scale instead of just plucking the root note, if you listen to Not So Brave you can hear the musicians skill develop and how the final cuts differ to the eventual release....forget about tab and how many times to hit a note, just feel it man, thats what its all about.......Anarchy, Peace, Freedom and Special brew to u all.....@

Hey Peter, are you from S.F.S.D.??? If so call me, this is steve.

Anyone have mp3's of Flux? I can't find any of their CDs, and I don't have a record player. I can't find any on Limewire, even when I search under "punk rock"
(which I should know better than to do) I just get a bunch of Good Charlotte and Blink-182 MTV crap. If you guys have mp3's, can you email me with attachments (email XneemsX@hotmail.com)? Much obliged.

>>By johnny not so vicious

>>By michelle

up the punks?

>>By johnny not so vicious

about tube disasters bass tabs...yes they are difficult but i just figured them out in like 5 minutes you just have to listen carfuly. it's not just a few little plucks of the string its all about the rythm to make it sound right the beginnings easy and so is the next part but if you listen closely in the second part they change it up...it's sort of a scale...just listen to the fucking song though a couple times and play along with it...it's easy

>>By smart alex

i really don't know, i didn't even get mine off the internet, i got it from a record shop in hollywood.

>>By michelle
