The Fields were the first band that impressed me that much I wanted to get everything they ever did (I'm talking about quite some years ago)...but I must conclude that the 'From the Fire'-single and the 'Fallen'-album are pieces of rubbish,the maker of 'Elizium and 'Zoon' not worth .....
I know I'm not the only one and I'm glad Carl was not statified with their releases.

Anyway: they opened my world to a lot of things and gave me a very good excuse to behave like an outrageous typhoon on some dancefloors...

I discovered FOTN ten years ago and I can't live a day without earing one of their songs.
Dawnrazor is without any doubt one of the most important album of my life with First & Last & Always from Sisters Of Mercy.
Their DVD is a wonderfull collection of their best songs with the powerfull live experience.

One of the greatest, if not THE greatest ("to each their own") goth bands out there. Original, powerful, with lyrics that make you think, and awesome emotional power. If you like Sisters Of Mercy, And One, and Assemblage 23, I highly recommend Fields Of The Nephilim. Random FYI: one o the bombers in the Israeli Air Defense Force is named the "Nephilim". And it's an awesome piece of machinery.
