Discussion: Eric'S Trip Purple Blue and Love Tara are both landmarks in underground music >>By jay the best band ever!!!these guys took sappy songs and home recordings to a whole new level. i borrowed the forever again c.d. from a friend....i was pretty trashed lol....went home put it in and didnt turn it off.....i had to beg him to sell me that cd.....i knew from the first song "new love" that this was one band i wont ever forget!!! >>By theusedglassjaw Eric's Trip is my favorite band. Their album Love Tara is great as well as all their other music. My Room is my favorite song by them, as well as many more of their hits. If you are looking for some good tunes be sure to check out some of their songs. My Room Listen Beatings.. many more! Long Days Ride Til' Tomorrow is another great album by them. >>By elandros eric's trip is by far my favourite band...i love all their albums...saw the reunion show in toronto, was right up front, leaning on rick's monitor... so personal it hurts to hear them talk about themselves... >>By pelagius42 well, for the first time i found out about them is on the Subpop 1997 mailorder cataloq.. at that time i was so into sebadoh and i saw the band names 'eric's trip' it reminds me of the songs from sonic youth.. then i check it out with the albums called LOVE TARA .. i was so surprise and it was like love at first sight! and now.. i've been a collector of their albums and ep.. plus all their side project etc. i love the honest of their songs... the recordings that doesn't need any expensive equiptments and most importantly ,it was so spontaneous! >>By kujoy
