| Discussion: Eric Johnson When a dedicated artist who has devoted a life time to perfecting his craft can release a cd that gets absolutely NO air time on todays radio stations it's a very sad statement my friends. When it evenutallly does come call your favorite (if you still have any) radio station and request, request, request. It will be the only way. Great guitarist one of the best alive. >>By mixolyd1an Eric Johnson is the Beatles of guitar players! He has the best tone of all time, some of the best technique, and without a doubt the best improviser on the guitar I have ever seen. I have seen him about 10 times, and every time after the show I am left shaking my head in disbelief. In my honest opinion he is in the same league as the all time greats like Hendrix, Van Halen, Page. Maybe even more so. >>By regotheamigo he is great. but when he's on the stage with joe satriani and steve vai he looked like a shy kid among his older classmate. his music is much easier to enjoy though....
