When a dedicated artist who has devoted a life time to perfecting his craft can release a cd that gets absolutely NO air time on todays radio stations it's a very sad statement my friends. When it evenutallly does come call your favorite (if you still have any) radio station and request, request, request. It will be the only way. That's what I will be doing in Minneapolis .

One who has studied his technique for four + years, I too find it to be a sad fact that Eric Johnson gets slim to no radio play. Great guitarist one of the best alive.

Eric Johnson is the Beatles of guitar players! He has the best tone of all time, some of the best technique, and without a doubt the best improviser on the guitar I have ever seen. I have seen him about 10 times, and every time after the show I am left shaking my head in disbelief. In my honest opinion he is in the same league as the all time greats like Hendrix, Van Halen, Page. Maybe even more so.

he is great. but when he's on the stage with joe satriani and steve vai he looked like a shy kid among his older classmate. his music is much easier to enjoy though.... (and he is much better looking than the two others....:) but joe and steve have wider exploratory achievement.

Eric is a great guitar player with a ton of talent and style. I wish he would release more albums on a regular basis? It's been awhile between his last release and now.
