| Discussion: Ennio Morricone I just have the privilege of metting the master in Rome,in a benefit concert of his music conducted by his son,Andrea. I think his music is different of all previous composers. A creative heart in a compassionate mind who lives in an emotional drive to experimentalism througth the image as populist iconaclasticism. As many of his contemporaries Morricone focuses on film scoring as a inmediate medium to reach the masses without falling in the conservatism and statism of the classic composing or conducting for the elite. To the difference of many of his contemporaries he penetrate the Holywood standards,still contributing without abandon the italian film industry. During the concert I met a doctor who use Morricone's music for therapeutic treatment for autistic childs. The scores,including the ones depicting horrific stories,oustanding the temporary and intrascende of the celluloid,and turning in perennial tunes for healing the stressed spirit of the ordinary man of the twenty century,and this century too.
