Discussion: Eels I've discovered this band thank to a friend. I already knew something about them (had seen a few videos and such), but I realized the magic in their music after listening to their "Beautiful Freak" album. Now I've got all their CDs; Beautiful Freak remains my fave but I love them all. Daisies of the Galaxy is probably my 2nd best; it's a very fragile, delicate piece of art. And one of my fave Eels' song is included in their "Electroshock Blues" CD, and it's called "Baby Genius". A short tune, a few words. Something that went straight to my heart. Eels are not my number 1 band -which is 4ever Mercury Rev- but they're one of my favourites. >>By Fleana I love eels, but i've only heard 1st 2 albums. I think BF is a great 'pop' album, sort of pavement meets radiohead, but ESB has the edge when it comes to originality + emotional depth, not as much fun to dance to, though. >>By Jerry Delicious I love eels!
