One of my most influential bands from dhr along with bomb 20.There music is powerfull, intense and inspiring.

Some dhr artists can start sounding the same- but these guys are pushing limits and i hope they continue too

WHO NEEDS DRUGS WHEN YOU HAVE DHR.

ec8or is one of the best bands. why the hell arent they on shareware. why the hell havent we heard about them. why the hell have they gone this long and nothing has happened. ec8or for ozzfest or something they need people to listen to them

Ec8or was a great band, i heard they broke up. I saw them perform here in the U.S. for the "one & only high and low" tour and thought that it was kinda boring. Years before they would play the loudest shows and bring their amiga with them and smash it on stage. I'd like to see them like that again. DHR is shit now, i still listen to the ec8or and patric c albums and the cobra killer album and carl cracks stuff and bomb20 but all the new stuff is really lame... actually its just alec empire trying to hold on to whats left of his empire. stroking the scene in london till there is no one left to come. i can't wait till he gets old and starts doing more experimental stuff again and stops fronting with this hardcore pose.

to the previous guy, pete:

"whine whine whine whine whine whine whine...I can't wait...whine whine whine...lame...stroking...whine whine whine whine whine"

you want better music, you think the scene has died...make the music yourself then.

I saw ec8or 2 times. 1 time in Groningen and 1 time in Rotterdam, and they're da bomb. I like them way way way better than those Hollywood-poser of Atari. There first 2 cd's where good, amazing even, but there latter cd's where just raking in the money. Anyway, I hate to say it though, but I agree with Pete. Just look at the DHR site right now...all the good bands have gone. No more Ec8or, Bomb20, Christoph, Cobra Killer or Fidel. ATR died with Carl Crack. It's just too bad to see all those great artists scattered without a trace. What happened to the once so great DHR that it has now to resort to such lame artists?

I remember when I say EC8or in Baltimore at the old Ottobar. It was funny as hell because it was mostly a bunch of prentencious art fags at the show and when EC8or went on me and my friend where the only ones dancing or thrashing. The great thing about a show like that is that you can hang out with the band afterwards. I was supposed to hang out with them the next day but they were staying at this kids house that I went to high school with that was acting all teritorial and weird about me hanging out and I didn't have a number for them to reach me. The funny thing is that night I ended up in the woods of Elicot City with a bunch of my friends in a drum circle , drinking and mediating tell I felt like I was on mushrooms and if EC8or had ended up hanging out I think it would have become so surreal that reality would have bent in on itself.

yeah , EC8OR are just having a break.

They'll have an album out one of these days, I reckon, it's just a question of having distribution, a label, to bother with all the mechanics of putting out an album

The U.S. tour was a BLAST, though, wasn't it?

Too bad you didn't follow 'em MadDoctorX!!!

I can't remember Baltimore, but I think that it would have been awesome to be a part of a drum circle, baby
