Discussion: Don Francisco

He's Alive is everybody's favorite. But there is another inspired song about the crucifiction that is about the Good Thief, called "Too Small a Price." There were two versions that I have heard. One is done strictly with acoustic guitar. The other is done with electric instruments and the music displays the mood of the good thief as he is dragged out of the cell and made also to carry his cross. The pounding bass at the beginning is truly frantic - must have been done on a syntheizer or keyboard, as it is to fast for electric bass. The mood changes throughout the song from the frantic beginning to after the thief meets Jesus and is assured that "this day you will be with me in Paradise. The song ends with one of the most memorably beautiful and peaceful lead guitar solos I have ever heard. The song chokes me up every time I heard it, but I don't have the tape or CD. I would like to find it.

do you know the chords for either song?

I recall hearing a song by Don Francisco in the 80's that mentioned Adam and Eve. I always loved it. I'd be very happy to get the words.
Is that possible? This is the first time I've visited this site.

Thanks,
Norma

Alot of questions are answered on his site, donfrancisco.com. They have his concert calendar, lyrics and answer questions about Don's music. I have been to some of his concerts. They are wonderful.
