| Discussion: Dj Signify signify is one of a slim breed of turntablists. his compositions and carefully woven mixes and highly slept on. signify in my eyes(and ears) is one of the most talented and musical turntablists of our time, he is the like the sober Jaco Pastorius of turntablism. >>By gemaratardius I first heard the man in question on a scrappy old tape one of my music making mates had. I swiftly pocketed it and within a matter of weeks it had obtained a mystical status as the tape with the funky tunes. Unfortunatly it then spent a few years bouncing round from house to house until it was left in a hi-fi the same night the same hi-fi was lifted from my mates front room. ANYWAY.... my point is that in a very short time Signify's beats had tickled several musical tastebuds and a record number of samples had been coined as daily phrases. The man's mix tape now has cult status and one too many DJ's are being found out for copying his styles and track ordering. Anyone got his email - need to track him down.
