Her career's really over now, altho it's been nowhere for years. Really was the weak link in the Supremes.....

Many things can be said about Diana Ross, but I truly believe her success is contributed to her early days with the Supremes. She seemed to be the great combination between her two singing mates. Her voice was not a true soul stirring gospel sound, but her pipes were stronger than her other singing mate. Also, her look stood out from the other two. These small waif like women singing her heart out just captured America. That is why the Supremes sold so well, and her career flourished for such a long time. I love ya Diana. Keep it going!

Diana Ross is one of the worlds greatest entertainers. Ms. Ross is also one of the worlds great entetainement icons. Credit should be given to her discipline as a person, and her knack for identifying the best management available. Both Ms. Ross and Michael Jackson share the same global managemebnt philosophy which is work hard and buy the best management and legal teams possible. I applaud her sense of business skills, and her determination to be a good mother. She has invested her money well, and proved herlf worthy of being in the history books. Ms. Ross is still one of the best live shows ever to hit Las Vegas. She ruled there for twenty five years! Her lonelines now is only temporary. Her comeback in 2005 will be a world event.

No matter what anyone says.... She will always be the
"DIVA SUPREME"..... I love you Diana, and if you have the smarts I know you have, you will put aside all the differences and the money matters, and get your ass up on that stage with Mary and Cindy and show the world that the legend lives....your music is Forever, and a REAL REUNION is in the stars....
Please make it happen....

Ross has always been underrated. It is as if to give her her just dues is to take away from someone else? No one has come along quite the way Ross did...she did it--actually--all by herself. Yes, Motown put her and the fellow Supremes on the charts...but, it was Ross who put The Supremes and Motown on the map. Give her...her just dues! You do not have to like her...just give her what is due her. Even at 59, she still shines...but, we live in a country that likes to build up and individual and then take that same individual down.

Where is Whitney Houston and Mariah Carrey today? Does anyone really care? I always said that Houston became a star just so others could spite Ross once her records dropped in sales. Houston benefitted immensely when Ross' career becan go twindle. Mariah is actually a great piece of A**, t*ts, and tw*t. Only Ross made it on her own with whatever voice she had...it was never the body or someone else's misfortune! She got up off her butt, and did for herself. History will bore all of this out! Now that Barry White has succumed to death, and Luthur Vandross is not far behind? Ross is really the only one else left? Think about it before a misfortune befalls her, too!

she may have weaves - but so does most EVERY other female performer now days!

she may also have bulgy eyes or really bulgy eyes...

But that did Not stop her from having 34 number one singles!
12 with the Supremes 1964 - 1969!!! (no one can beat that alone!!!)
22 solo, duets, special appearances! first in 1970 latest in 1999!!
She is also The most covered/sampled artist in recording history.
She had the longest string of hits in record 34 years and a Hit single Every year!

Diana Ross is in the guiness book of world records cited as "The Most Successful Female Recording Artist Of All Time"!

Diana Ross Is what other singers aspire to be but never touch!
Madonna and Janet have come close then Mariah and Whitney but none have achieved the kind of success Miss Ross has and as long as there are Music and Charts around the World, Miss Diana Ross shall always be ten steps ahead of the rest.......
and all this from the "Weaved Headed, Bulgy Eyed, Weak Link Has Been" That Is Miss Diana Ross!

Nuff Said!

Diana Ross, you either lover or you hate her, there's no in between. Fortunately enough of us love her that her career will flourish forever. You haters can say what you wanna, but none of can dispute statistics, Diana Ross is still the most electrifying female act in the world. She's sold more records and broken more records than any female to ever dawn a stage. Diana is to music what Michael Jordan was to basketball, ALI to boxing and Bret Farve to football. There is no comparison. Whitney, Janet, Mariah, Celine,Aretha, Patti,Gladys, Natalie, Beyounce or Barbara could never hold a candle to this DIVA. Yes, it's true, she hasn't had a hit in he USA since Missing You, but she has continue to reign supreme in the U.K. and Japan. Let's not forget that. Anybody who can re-release previously record music and have it go quadruple platinum is nothing less than THE BEST. Keep doing your thang girlfriend. And keep doing it YOUR WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There's no other performer around who has been treated with as much disdain as Diana Ross. Primairly because of the industry of "hate mongering" created by Mary Wilson. Let's not forget that Diana Ross was young and talented among many ladies who felt, as well they should, that they were just as talented. But I've read autobiographies by people like Smokey Robinson who has nothing to gain or lose by telling the truth: He said: The other ladies thought they had the appeal that Ross did but they did not. And that is the driving force behind all the hateful things other Motown artists have said about her. Think back to you high school days when the popular, pretty girl was always the target of bitterness. I can see it--especially with the relationship she developed with Gordy---the other girls must have been so petty and jealous. And by the way, Gordy didn't buy all the hits that Ross had---the public did.

She is the Susan Luci of the Grammy's. Imagine all the great music and never a Grammy when songs like: Don't worry be happy have been so rewarded. So what is about this lady that makes many despise her so? I would say success! And having the ability to hold her head up.

The only thing standing between Diana Ross and a major hit is a company to back her music. Her CD's of late all contained music that is as good as anything Cher has released, but Cher doesn't have someone dogging her at every turn. Careful when you write this major talent off, you may find yourself dancing to a top ten tune in the future.

She deserves a chance to end her career on a high note. Is there nobody in the industry willing to take that leap with her? Perhaps Missy Elliot, Janet Jackson, Mariah Carey would collaborate and benefit.

I love me some Diana Ross. She,from the very beginning, oozed sexuality, elegance, bravado and talent that was so unbelieveable for someone that age. I bonded immediately with her and have not let her go these 40+ years later. She,along with my Mom,has been the motivator of what a Strong Black Woman may achieve thru determination, faith,a strong sense of discipline and and innate sense of worth so very important in any endeavor we may partake in this life. More than anything my admiration and love magnifies each time I see the way she handles adversity and crisis. She confronts it,holds her head up high and perseveres all the more. What this beautiful Goddess of a Black Woman has accomplished absolutely boggles the mind. She has no peer. For all the Ross detractors, please get use to the fact that as long as Diana has fans such as myself and all the millions of others across the world, she will continue to be what she does best..being the best damn diva in this whole wide world.
