Discussion: Devendra Banhart I only found out about Devendra Banhunt through the TV commercial for "Cathedral City", a brand of cheese. The song in the advert for those who are interested is "At the hop" and if you like what you heard on the advert, do what I did and go get a copy of "Cripple Crow" which is as manic and spontaneous as any Beefheart album yet retaining a simplistic airy feel to that of comptemporary folk, such as Gorky's Zygotic Mynci. >>By Neural Flux hooray for Devendra! >>By GööR yay for little yellow spider >>By Ali likes cheese every time I went to my boyfriends house, devendra was playing. I'm not a (or wasn't) a devendra fan and my boyfriend claimed it was his roommate who was listening to him. Well....his roommate has moved out and there's STILL devendra playing every time I go over there....hmmmm. I've come to sing his songs when I'm alone and actually look forward to hearing him (and I do....EVERY TIME I go to my boyfriends place).
