they were kinda cool: the latest album kinda pissed me of, and I actually didn't buy it, even though I was complete on the deus collection until now: just missing some singles, but he that's oke.......

Think there best albums are the first EP (Zea) and the debut CD "WCS" after that they lost abit of there spontanity.. But still they were good....

You didnt reckon Belgians can rock?

Well, ever wondered what you get when you get arty belgians mixing european jazz beats with Zappa/beefheart ideals, then you have deus' first album 'Worst Case Scenario'. And what an album! Did lose a bit when group members left after this. But still worth a listen.

I think that their last album, pocket revolution is really a waist of money.. But I still swear by their earliest stuff... Just don't understand what they ended up with....

Theyre back!

just give the new material time. It's not WCS but theyre getting there.

One track reminds me vaguely of Carry on Your Wayward Son by Kansas. Which is akin to being on the job and realising your girlfriend looks like your mum. But yanks in pick up trucks might like it though.

Pocket revolution is as good as w.c.s.! Their music is developing not getting worse! But stil it`s kinda sad that stef kamil carlens (zita swoon rockz!) left the band, he`s a great musician! carlens together with barman are better than beatles, pink floyd and beastie boys together!

Beatles, Pink Floyd and the beastie boys?? A strange selection.

What about Rudy Trouve? Gore Slut rockz!? too.

Let's just say it has developped in to something I don't like anymore, not that I don't want bands to change, but I don't have to agree with the changes (do I?).. They say P.Rev. is a growing record, but it just doesn't grow on me.
Anyway, they'll play in town in a week or two, maybe I'll go and check them out. Surely won't hurt, and I can also just go and have a beer..........
