Discussion: Delta 88 I 've had my 77 Delta 88 for about 10 years, but Its been parked for three. When I first got it I was into nothing but trouble. I was involved in high speed chases with LPD and several enemies, That car could go..... I actually left a police cruiser about 4 blocks behind me once. The car came with a 350 chevy package, automatic of course. I abused the car for years berfore it needed any real attention. I ruined the tranny, the fly wheel, cracked the A arms, replaced the starter, alternator, tie rods, key switch, water pump, master cylinder, power steering, the entire ignition system, and the car still took me to Colorado and back to Texas. Oh yeah, I also replaced the carbeurator. I have no doubt the car would never have had these problems if I never would have installed a hydraulic setup and hopped it all the time. Over all, I think this was the toughest car I ever owned. The car still cranks, but needs a tranny again.
