Del Fuegos

Forum

Hi, I live in Bow, New Hampshire which is right next door to Concord where the Del Fuegos started out. Dan and Warren came to town a couple of years back to reunite for one night only as the Del Fuegos for a charity event. Very informal and cool concert. I got to meet and greet the boys after the show without all the pretense that usually surrounds these types of affairs. If you're a real fan, you might know that Dan is doing his thing with music aimed at children. "Rocket Ship Beach" has been out for awhile and features Dan with guest artists such as, Cheryl Crow and Suzzanne Vega. Cool stuff even for us grown up people. Cheryl and Dan team up for Polly Wolly Doodle. Anyway, couldn't for the life of me find out where to purchase "The Fire's" music and then Google led me here. Thanks for being there gnoosic! Peace out everybody. Jimmie K.

Know the name of the band, but not their music. Gnoosic asked me for the names of 3 bands that i liked, so I gave them James Carr (60s R&B singer), Van Morrison and no. 3 Memphis Horns. The "Horns" were an Atlantic/Stax studio group that recorded one song on their own - early or mid-60s - that became a hit. Of course I'm sure everyone's heard of "Van the Man," but til you see him in person with that big band of his, you ain't seen nothing. Even now in his late middle-age. Anyway, guess I'll have to check out Del Fuegos.
