| Discussion: Default Saw these guys Sunday 1st December backing up Nickleback and was suitably impressed! A great array of songs and they've definitely put themselves on my list of good bands. I'll be keeping my eyes out (and of course my ears!) for them in the future! Rock on!!!! >>By Sovereign i recently saw Default aa a Nickleback gig. They were the opening band and i thought they were absouloutly brilliant!!!!!! The guy with the curly locks stole the show with his wild hair antics while strumming the guitar. >>By Footeprint I recently went to see Default play at the "Festival of Lights" in Charlottetown, PEI in Canada. They were sooo awesome! I am really into Dallas Smith, his voice makes me a VERY happy girl :) They sang a song that just blew me away and all I remember from the lyrics was the chorus, and hopefully someone will be able to help me with this...the lyrics I recall were "cause' it's taking my life away." I have done about a million searches on Default lyrics looking for what could be the song they sang. It was kinda slow, and when I think about how it sounded now I get goosebumps. I personally think their live show is amazing, and with so much other crap on the radio now Default has so much talent. You have to look beyond they radio friendly Wasting My Time, which is the only song most people seem to know of theirs. Their sound is so different from other bands, bluesy guitar riffs, fast solos, and some good bass playing and drumming. Not to mention Dallas is an outstanding vocalist.
