yo, DP sincerely and utterly changed my life with "Let's Get Free". That album encompasses a lot of what all the ghetto youth of the Amerikkka need to hear everyday. i think that if they played DP on the radio daily for a month and the ghetto youth listened their would be mad change. DP refuse the conformity that most of their "hip-POP" counterparts revel in. I go to UCSD and i am straight from South Central L.A. in Killa Kali. I am at this university using all their info to make me more knowledgable. its my real life version of knowing My enemy. i m down for the revolution. im ANOTHER COMRADE!

I still believe we need a voice like dead prez. keep the "struggle" real. Black people need to recognise that the system has, and always will be a problem; and the only way to eradicate this problem is to have enough BLACKS with qalification in the system to change the system and finaly get "it" to work for every one, NOT just for peopleof colour.
So please dead prez in your next album encourag the youths to stay in a school and get qualify. The idea of blame is also with us, because if PARENTS teach their children about the Civil Rights, Dr king, william Wilberforce, they wil know how fortunate they are and use their status- no matter hoe bad they think it is- to set a better road track for their kids.

I am forced to attend college by my mother and i am using their knowledge to build my future real estste investment carreer. I am not going to work for no damn company for forty years slaving with college debt on my back. Fuck the college system. Dead Prez speaks the truth. If I listened to my teachers I would be heading towards a math teaching carreer by now. My real love is real estate not teaching math. I mean I am good at math but I don't want it to be my carrer. When I tell the teachers that I want to be a succesful real estate investor they ljust smile. Fuck all my high school teachers. Dead Prez keep doing ya thing and fuck the school system.

I am a white guy who had a major perpective flip when I heard let's get free. It made me want to do things to help out the ghetto community I lived in because if I don't no one else might. I always look at the big picture in life now. If I hear some racist black person say something bad to me no matter the age, I do something positive to try to correct their minds and put them in a position and more importantly try to put them in perspective to succeed. I always thought I was for black rights but I never did anything about it. I love their whole first album. I also try to tell racist white folks that they have no reason to hate anyone for being anything different. FYI You will find that most racist white folks hate jews and/or gays and just hate hate hate for no damn reason other than they wanna blame others cause they ain't got whatever. I agree with redscare when it comes to DP. I think that they're amazing. The first time i heard them was a freshman in HS. It totally blew my mind. Sometimes it does bother me their generalizations about white people. I agree that there are more fucked up white people than any other race, however, there are also a LOT of revolutionary white people. People who believe in truth and spreading the spirit of revolution. I think that classifying all 'crackers' as 'the man' is wrong and sets everyone back. I, for one, believe in intelligent revolution, not putting a whole group of people under one label.
Take a look at what it's REALLY about.
