Granted they have gone thru several singers like Jay/Lana, Jay/Tania, Kim Saunders and now Jacky Sangter. There was suppose to be an album called "Obsesion" with Jacky on vocals but the album was not released. Their last album Metamorphosis, with Kim, was very different but still good. Who knows, maybe one day we will be granted with the another dance album by Culture Beat!!! I still listen to them and feel rather melancholic, because they remind me of the best of times - the beginning of the nineties. I can't even begin to tell you how disappointed I was when I saw that Tania had left the group - with the new singer, it wasn't the Culture Beat I knew. The songs were ok, but something was missing. Probably Tania's vocals and Jay's raps.I sincerely hope that this time the producers will come full circle... meaning, after all these years, they should finally 'recall' Tania and Jay back. They're the team... together thay make Culture Beat what it really is! Oh, yes, one more thing: "Mr Vain Recall" - nice job, but with Tania's vocals would have been perfect... >>By Srdjan Hi everybody! I was in my mid teens when Culture Beat released the rather superb "Serenity" (1993) album which I still like to play a lot after all those years. It is amongst the finest techno-pop albums of the era. "Mr Vain", "Got To Get It", "World In Your Hands", "Anything" and "Serenity (epilog)" all are great tracks. No doubt about it. But my favourite one off it would be the mind-blowing "Adelante" which is the sexiest techno-pop song/single I have ever heard. Love the feel, the earth-moving Spanish lyrics, music, Jay's sexy as hell voice...in fact everything about it. It would be very nice if Jay and Tania would reunite for yet another record or tour.
