Cradle of filth has been the favorite of any true black metal fan. take any other black metal band, and their styles are the same, you notice that cradles a lot different. i mean none of their cds are the same, compare bitter suites to cruelty, i mean they dont even resemble each other except for dani's talent. a lot of bands have trouble with that, they never mix things up and come up with anything new, cradle rules!!

Cradle of filth rule!
No doubt about it they are just the best and they are different but what i think is really shitty that theres this band called 'Thus Defiled' and every song i have heard they sound the same, yeah the guitar is different ( just a little bit) but all there song have very little vocals and i just think thats fucked up (changing the sub) hope 'Damnation of a Day' comes out soon.

Cradle of Filth is one of the best black metal bands out there. I own every single one of there cds and Ilove them all none of them are my favorite. Cradle of Filth is FuckingAmazing.

COF isnt what they used to be I will be suprised what the new album on EPIC will be like I love all there older stuff but with all the line up changes they just are different now. I mean Dani is the shit but they need to get the line up that they had when they made cruelty and the beast and they would own.

i still think that " the principle of ... " and " dusk ... " are great albums ... but the " new era " of COF sucks the big one , they sold all their beliefs and became trendy fucks as many of the " true " black metal bands ... sad but true ...

I don't know what is so great about this band.They started as an atmospheric death metal band("Invoking the unclean","Black godess Rises","Orgiastic Pleasure","Total fucking darkness") continued as melodic/atmospheric black metal("P.o.e.m.f.","Vempire","Dusk...","Cruelty...") and now it's all just image ("Pandaemoneon-From...","B.s.t.s").I prefer Obtained Enslavement,Darzamat,Arcturus...

they sound great,and Dani is a great artist,the rest of the members are too,but the way that Dani sings and write is awsome...

Cradle of Filth is fucking great, and I don't care what others think about this band... I just think they're just fucking great! And by the way what's wrong with other types of music, I also like Death-Metal, Doom-Metal, Gothic, Rock 'n' Roll, Blues, Punkrock, Classical, Rock, some nu-metal and sometimes also stupid "sweet" Pop songs...
