I really connect with a lot of them. I have been listing to them since I was way little. My dad and mom got me listing to them. There songs bring up lots of memories for me. The song writing is phenominal. Music today is shallow and CB is so very deep. Jonnette has one of the greatest voices ever live as well as studio. All of their songs have special feelings and emotions in the darkest way you can emagine. Concrete Blonde has made the best music I've ever heard, I like "the beast", is one of my favorite. Johnette's voice is unique in that it can be powerful yet delicate at the same time. Case in point, listen to the first three songs from Walking in London. Start with Ghost of a Texas Ladies' Man and go through the band's most beautiful song Les Cours Jemeaux.
