It was a great show, though not quite as good as their show we seen at the Huntridge here some years back. They did rock, and the two new tunes off of their forthcoming album were very good. They also did a couple of cover tunes one of which was AC/DC's Highway to Hell. They have enough good material to avoid having to resort to well known songs by other artists. I'll grade the show a 6 out of 10 mostly because of the venue, with their first show being a very solid 9.5. >>By steve for me collective soul is the greatest and the best band. That is the real reason why Ed the Ed Roland gave him the boot (a.k.a the highway to hell) out of the band. I cant wait to see them kick my biotch in concert though. Last time I saw then they opened for Creed..which baffled me. I love this band, they are so talented and inspirational. I have all the albums except "The 7 year Itch". Their web site has never been updated and I guess I should expect their new album in June sometime. I saw them play in Speedway Race track two years ago and they rock!! can't wait for updates! >>By Zdogg I don't know what you guys are talking about in Chicago. I've lived in Chicago all my life and have followed CS from the beginning and Chicago has always played their stuff and still does quite steadily. Yesterday, heard them twice on Q101 and 102.3 even played them just last night coming home from work. This may because of the upcoming album...you know how bands get more airtime when new a CD is in the works. CS was just here last year at some downtown venue and before that up at MilwaukeeFest.
