Its weird because Ruban accually won but it seems you hear more about and from clay aiken....i dont like him but I just noticed it

>>By Jane

Yea Ruban won but for clay being on national tv with a voice like his then of course a record company is going to get ahold of him. For me I will say he's got a good voice and some vocal talent. But his image is what is going to keep some people away. Not all but for half the younger peeps out there who dont like to listen to clean up beat kind of flaming music. He does some real girlish music. But like I said I give him props for a good voice other than that he doesn't do it for me. I dont care for his music style.

I LOVE CLAY AIKEN! His voice is so beautiful, and his songs are meaningful...Clay is absolutely perfect, every girl's dream. I consider him to be one of the best looking boys on earth (okay so he is twenty-five but to me he is a boy because he looks like he is my age, fifteen). His personality is awesome, too...Clay is truly a southern gentleman with an adorable accent...I consider Clay to be ONE IN A MILLION. From the minute he walked on stage in Charlotte, I knew Clay Aiken would be a star. He was cute even then with his glasses and red hair...I seem to have a thing for boys with red hair!! I don't care what other people say, Clay is the best and he is not gay!!! I don't think his clean cut, proper southern boy image will keep people away, but draw people to him...Americans are sick of listening to Eminem's ghastly music and looking at musicians who are not fully dressed! Clay represents the good and INNOCENCE left in this corrupt world. Clay Aiken will be remembered as Mozart is remembered, years and years from now when all else is lost and faded from memory...Clay Aiken's name will be remembered as the Beatles are remembered...One day people will remember who Clay Aiken was and what he represented, wholesomeness, and the ability to be his own person without becoming the "normal" vision of pop star...I applaud Clay Aiken and what he represents, people like myself, wholesome and innocent...

wholesome and innocent...hmm. he's a nice guy with a nice voice. but where will he be 10 yrs from now? when the idol hype has died down?

>>By eatengold

you used that same line on the sum 41 page but this time i have to agree with you i doubt if anyone will remember him in 2 years

>>By therion

Clay has even stated himself he knows this could all end in an instant....He is thankful God has blessed him with the gift to share his music with the world......It doesn't matter if Clay is forgotten 2 years from now or 200...his music is rare and will leave an impression on many, many people....But that's just my opinion....:)

i dont think his music will leave any impression on anybody if you want to hear of a band that has left a lasting impression check out Nirvana

Nirvana.....yeah they were good Grunge music I guess....I don't know much about them....
Clay's music appeals to a much wider audience if you want to know the truth....
