First of all, generally speaking, he has opened new horizons to the Algerian music and freed it from certain prejudices tnat confined it to a limited geographical state. Secondly, politically speaking, he has managed to change the mentality of some people who think that singing life and the enjoyment of it is a "sin" and that Raļ music should be banned like it used to be in the 70' and 80'. Thirdly, together with the help of foreign producer, he invented a new explosive sensual musical genre without his songs losing the fundamental traditional Algerian flavor.
