I love Cat Power. This is the first time I've seen people talk about this wonderful band. *Smiles* I'm introverted and when I'm regaining my strength with some solitude, Cat Power just soothes my soul. I can listen to it for hours. It's easy on the brain, it's not hard to listen too, if you know what I mean?

DOES ANYBODY KNOW THIS?
i went to her show in hepburn springs, victoria, australia. she played a song with the lyrics "jennifer....remember when you were sick...i sat by your bed...remember me cos we are only here for a little while" it is not her song but she said it was her favourite singer EVER. any help would be good. cheers.,

my favourite album is definitely "what would the community think"
i fell in love with 'nude as the news' the first time i heard it on a matador compilation in 1999.
she never comes to vancouver, bc... she goes to seattle, but doesn't cross the border (except once, and it was incredible!)
