"The Decline of British Sea Power" is an excellent LP. When I first purchased it, I thought it was OK. Listen to it about a dozen more times and fell in love with the LP. It is influenced by many bands such as Joy Division, Jesus and Mary Chain, David Bowie. Psychedelic Furs, Echo and the Bunnymen and others. If I think of any other influences, I will post it later. Check it out. I regret that I missed their show several months ago. How are the other LPs?

the decline of british sea power is huge, it's what indie music would have sounded like written in the second world war, so dark its great
