| Discussion: Brand X I love this band >>By dogboy This is one of the most fascinating och skillful groups I have ever heard. They are more melodic than John Abercrombie which is another favorite of mine. One words ring to mind - almost perfection. I think Phil Collins is wasting much of his time - he is so good at the drums, almost like Jack de Johnette. A truly amazing group working, as I recall, outside other groups like Genesis. I can't believe John Goodsall has not done anything since this. I have been listening to this music for over 20 years and still think it is ground breaking. I think it is sad that they do not have more populatity among music listeners. This is one band I would go anyplace to see,..their live stuff is as good or better than the studio stuff.
