Actually Blur are really aptly titled...I find they are able to mesh genres and sound in an ever-changing experiement that moves them further from the britrock beginnings into an ever more varied sonic landscape. Probably they had a better name in the past and some sucker felt that this single motion moniker would evoke more interest from whiny teenagers (read: fork over their disposable income)...but that's life. In in today's bleak newspage, learning that Blur may have betrayed a humbler grammatic background is really quite inconsequential. The new album Think Tank is fantastic! I saw them in Milan and they chose to revel in the ambience of the evening, much to the delight of the crowd and the band themselves. Of course we all know that Damon Albarn has been spending more and more time with folks who believe in that other supreme deity (attention Bush- you might want to check this guy out for terrorist connections and WMD's) and this album shows his maturation through that exposure. My only complaint is that they haven't continued to make things all 'blurry' on their album cover like past ones. That was cool. BLUR KICKS BUTT!

One more question. What's the big shit around the Gallegars, Blur and the Gorillas?
Or is it over? Again?

>>By Csongi

Parklife is one of my favorite cd's,it is one of those rare cd's I can listen to from beginning to end. I've had parklife since 1995 and still listen to it probably once a week.

I love the old Blur, i don't like ''13'' and ''Think Thank''.
Why Graham isn't in the band any more?????

>>By sofia30
