Blonde Redhead is awesome, they are mostly metal with strange loud vocals that jump in all of a sudden during a peaceful tune, their song "in particular" rules, it's sort of a dance, pop song with a groovin' catchy tune.

They are music for the true eclectic. They take every wonderful noise on earth and seem to fit it on one cd. AMAZING.
Scream Cry Laugh Dance.
Inspiration to many underwear dance parties, and damn good to chill to on a hot summers day as well.
I cant say enough...japanese/italian members...make me wanna cream.

This is truly a very nice band: as said above, eclectic, but never weak in this eclecticism. I have some CD's of them and in this they do what I expect of a band: change.. make different songs in different ways every time.. I love bands like this that sound different with every thing they do, and do it good........

yes they are still going, actually they have just released a new album where they have really let the old sonic youth link go... This is really an album worth buying... So go and run to your local recordstore......

I saw them live yesterday, and it was great. Lot's of true fans in the hall. Anyway, the concert was great, there was this tension that went trough all the songs, during the whole concert. They hardly said anything, only something against the lightengineer, and some small thank you's, but mostly they just played, on and on. Only when the guitar player said some thing about the light I had the idea that the tension was broken for a second, but they got it back quickly. They are defenatly no longer just a sonic youth adapt, but really have their own sound and groove.
They seemed to love the place, or the enthousiasm of the public, because they even came cback twice.

The opening which was a dutch band was very nice too, abit harder the blonde redhead, Soda P, Indie that can be compared to shellac maybe. Maybe one of the best dutch bands of the moment.

All together I had a great night, even the music in between the two concerts was good. What more can you have.
