| Discussion: Bleach There are at least two bands named "Bleach", but the one that's a punk trio from Okinawa are AMAZING. I finally got a chance to see them live last month, and they were even better than I expected, from the CDs I had heard. Amazing mix of styles - drummer/singer playing prog, guitar/singer playing "alt", and the bassist/singer playing insane spazz punk. Fast, complex, incredibly tight, and killer rock. >>By shieldforyoureyes i'm jealous! i only recently discovered Bleach while going through my boyfriend's music. . . you're right. . .these girls are amazing! hard, fast, and very interesting! i was instantly in LOVE. . . it's a shame that music like this isn't very popular in their home country of Japan. so far i've only listened to two of their albums. . .Bleach and Three Girls From Okinawa. i think they're both brilliant. . . some other Japanese bands that make me smile are Mad Capsule Markets, Melt-Banana, Boris, Polysics, and the Boredoms! >>By drowninginflame You are not logged in.
